Vintage Presidio Heights

In keeping with my previous update, below is a photo (circa 1969) of San Francisco’s Presidio Heights neighborhood, where the Zodiac killer took the life of a Yellow cab driver named Paul Stine. There is a red letter X at the upper-left of the photo, marking the location of the crime scene at the intersection of Washington Street and Cherry Street. The other red X marks the intersection of Washington Street and Maple Street, the Zodiac killer’s initial destination. The Zodiac escaped toward the Presidio, the upper right half of the photo.
