Can You Help Solve The Zodiac Killer Case?

The Zodiac Killer is perhaps one of the most infamous serial killers in American history. Throughout his activity during the late 1960s to early 1970s in Northern California, he not only claimed lives – he also taunted the public through his threatening letters and ciphers. Now, more than half a century later, we’re still searching for answers to the Zodiac Killer case.

What Questions Remain Unanswered

The Zodiac Killer case is full of mysteries. Although new answers indeed continue to be uncovered, even now, there are plenty of mysteries associated with the case that may never be solved.

Why Did He Name Himself “The Zodiac?”

“The Zodiac” is a self-appointed name the killer gave himself in his letters. From August 1969 on, he opens most letters with the line “This is the Zodiac speaking.” Although he reveals select information in his letters – such as his motives, the details of some of his past crimes, etc. – he never explained his reasoning for the moniker he gave himself.

What Did The Circle-Cross Symbol Mean?

Another common feature of the Zodiac’s letters is the circle-cross symbol – an even-barred cross with an overlapping circle. This is another unexplained mystery, although there have been many theories about its meaning.

Who Were The Zodiac’s Other Victims?

The Zodiac would sometimes detail his personal victim count in his letters. By his count, he claims to have taken 37 victims. Only 7 Zodiac Killer victims have ever been confirmed, however. Who were the others? Will they ever be discovered and linked definitively to the Zodiac Killer case?

These are just a few of the mysteries that have not yet been solved. Can you help find the answers? If you’re ready to discuss the Zodiac Killer mysteries with others interested in the case, join the Zodiackiller.com discord channel
